Selkirk 6" Damper Kit. It allows the operator to alter the amount of air drawn through the venting system, controlling the stove's combustion. Must be installed directly on the stove's flue outlet where applicable. When the handle is in the horizontal position, the damper is closed, reducing combustion. When the handle is in the vertical position, the damper is wide open, no reduction of combustion. The closed position is still 20% open, so the venting system is not completely blocked. The damper kit features an attractive outer black enamel finish. The outer wall is constructed from aluminized steel while the inner liner is composed of stainless steel. The combination of these metals provides a durability that last significantly longer than single wall stove pipe.
